Downtime

The server was down for approximately 1.5 hours this afternoon. On your iPhone or iPod Touch, Versus Chess would have been stuck at the “Connecting...” screen.

We believe this was caused by an update we put on the server as part of the development of Versus Chess 2.0.

Please accept our sincere apologies to everyone who was unable to play while the server was broken.

Versus Chess Version 1.05

Version 1.05 has been released by Apple.

By default your pieces will always be at the bottom of the screen
You can’t enter non-legal characters in the Username Option.

Server Outage

Our server was unreachable for approximately 6 hours after a network outage at our hosting provider. They have taken steps to ensure it won’t happen again. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Versus Chess Version 1.02

Version 1.02 is ready to be submitted to Apple. We are waiting on them to approve or disregard version 1.01 so we can submit this newer version.
